Intacta Productions was
established by agents Jake Bartok and Faustina King as a joint effort to combine
their expertise and experience in the publishing and entertainment industries.
It incorporates Jake Bartok Literary Associates and the Faustina King Agency in
a cooperative venture whose scope is international and whose commitment to
representing authors leaves nothing to chance.
Jake Bartok Literary Associates is Jake Bartok and Faustina King.
Jake Bartok specializes in thrillers, creative nonfiction and literary fiction.
Born in New York
City and raised and educated in Paris and London on full academic scholarships,
Jake Bartok received a Bachelor of Commerce (Magna Cum Laude) from Oxford
University and went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Baruch
College in New York.
Whether he is considering fiction or non-fiction, Bartok will not take on a
project unless he feels certain he can sell it. With a preference for
politically and socially important works, he represents more than 100 clients,
the vast majority of whom are new, unpublished, or self-published writers. For
Jake Bartok, and Virgo Intacta Productions, the most rewarding moment is holding
his client’s published book in his hands at a well-attended book-signing and
seeing the smile on his client’s face.
Faustina King specializes in creative nonfiction, literary fiction, and subsidiary rights, including film rights.
Faustina King has worked in book publishing for over eighteen years. She has discovered, launched, and championed the publishing careers of numerous best selling authors and has been instrumental in television and film deals as well. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she migrated to New York City where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College and a Masters from New York University. She currently lives and works in the TriBeCa district of Lower Manhattan. Like her colleague and fellow agent Jake Bartok, Faustina believes that the most important mission for Virgo Intacta Productions is to create an agency that fulfills the highest needs and aspirations of its clients, and insuring sales of top-notch properties to the editorial and creative executive sides.
